Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were old-fashioned for a supposed five-star hotel with a strange smell lingering. However, the access to a private lounge and the floor-to-ceiling windows were nice touches. The service was a bit hit or miss - friendly and helpful at times, but inconvenient lapses in room cleaning. The location was unbeatable, right across from the Leidseplein and convenient for city tours. The dining was a bit overpriced, but the staff was accommodating. Facilities were adequate, but the coffee was a letdown.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant with spacious rooms offering an amazing view and well-stocked food options for breakfast and dinner, allowing me to save time and money. Although the room was nice, it didn't feel like a significant upgrade from my elite status room. The service was excellent with a helpful concierge who arranged reservations at a fantastic Dutch restaurant. The location was ideal, close to major attractions, bars, and restaurants, yet not overcrowded. The dining experience was a bit disappointing due to long queues and slow service.
The hotel offers a nice view of the town from the balcony, but the room with two double beds was somewhat small with minimal storage space. Woke up early to construction noise from the scaffolding outside. The service was outstanding, especially in handling room changes promptly. The location was exceptional, close to various amenities and attractions. The dining experience was a bit inconsistent with long wait times for breakfast eggs. The hotel's facilities were generally good, with a nice buffet running until noon on New Year's Day.
The hotel had modern and clean rooms with a great view of the city and one of the top 5 hotel bathrooms I've ever seen; however, the room could get very cold at night due to a thermostat issue, and the constant smell of smoke from the side entrance was a downside. The service was warm and accommodating, but there seemed to be some inconsistencies in information provided. The location was ideal, near restaurants and bars, although it was a bit of a walk to certain attractions. The dining experience provided good quality food, but there were issues with room service. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers spacious rooms but lacks in cleanliness and modernity. The service is attentive and helpful, improving issues effortlessly. The location is unbeatable, close to major attractions. The dining experience is subpar, with limited options. Overall, a decent choice but with room for improvement.
My weekend stay for a girly catchup was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms lacked desks, but there was a large table for us to gather around. Unfortunately, we had to deal with continuous machinery noise even when the aircon was off, and we were given a standard room.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit small for four people, but we were promptly relocated to a more spacious room with comfy beds. However, there was a policy concerning room amenities being removed which was a slight inconvenience, though available upon prior notice. The service was efficient but lacking in friendliness and personal touch. The location was superb, offering easy access to a cinema, restaurants, and direct transport from the airport. The dining experience was a mix of good and not so good, with tasty options but not quite up to 5-star expectations.
The hotel offers very nice and spacious rooms, ideal for a European stay, with a thoughtful design featuring a little side couch and ample USB ports for charging. The cleanliness is top-notch, although the room size is not the largest compared to other places visited. The service is friendly and professional, with minor inconveniences like early knocking on doors balanced by the availability of privacy door-hangers. The location is perfect, being close to popular attractions like Leidseplein, Vondelpark, and the Museum Quarter. The dining experience is delightful, with a tasty and fresh selection of dishes and a particular highlight on the bacon. The facilities are well-maintained and include items like a treadmill, bikes, weights, and a shop. Overall, a great value for money stay, despite some minor room size limitations.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Amsterdam, offering a convenient location for exploring the city. The rooms are spotless and equipped with a bath, providing a comfortable stay. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. However, the dining options can be a bit pricey if not included in the room rate.
